HOW RARE IS A CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE LIKE POLO?While I have read online that Chocolate Point Siamese are both rare and very expensive, I was sitting here wondering exactly how rare is my kitty Polo, insofar as our immediate neighborhood feline population is concerned.So, I opened a blank text file, and I began typing out a list of all of the cats and kittens I can remember seeing in our immediate neighborhood, going back to when I first moved into this area.Well, by the time I was done, I had a list consisting of thirty-five cats and kittens of various ages, sizes and coat patterns. Of course, there are probably even a few more which I don't even remember now.And guess what? Even with the ones which I do remember, not one single one of them even remotely looks like Polo with her cute chocolately points and light creamy body. Not a single one out of thirty-five cats and kittens ... well, except for her blue-eyed daddy, Whitey, who appears to be a Flame Point Siamese.So, I guess my girl is pretty rare after all. I knew from the start that she was special, but looking at the local gene pool proves it even more. :)Click the image to enlarge.
