Since 1993-1994, I have authored a total of 300+ articles and multi-part series, and I continue to write new ones as the Lord leads, and as my time and health permit. In these articles, I present thought-provoking, Scripture-based perspectives regarding Bible prophecy and many other topics which are related to the Holy Scriptures and our Christian walk of faith. Back in 2018, I decided to expand the Bill's Bible Basics ministry a bit more by starting a YouTube channel. During that year, I made about thirty videos. Some of them are me reading some of my articles, while others are me reading some of my poetry. Since that time, I have slowly added more videos to my YouTube collection. In the case of multi-part articles, or series, each part has its own video, so that you are not overburdened by one long video. During the course of writing the many articles which appear on the Bill's Bible Basics website, I have personally compiled hundreds of related Bible verse lists on a wide range of topics. After all, as King David wrote, the Lord has magnified His Word above His very Name. As Christian writers, we should do the same: "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." Psalms 138:2, KJV Wherever possible, I have inserted Scriptures to support my views, so that you the reader can see why I believe and teach the things that I do. In fact, I believe so much in the power of quoting the Scriptures, that it may very well be that, collectively-speaking, perhaps half of the total content of all of my articles combined are solid Scripture. Hopefully, this point alone will give you a good idea of how important I believe it is to make sure that I am leading my readers to the Lord and to His Word, and not just to myself, or to my human understanding of Biblical matters. God's Word is indeed powerful, and no human word can compare to it. For as the Apostle Paul so wisely wrote: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." The Downloadable, Customizable CSNet Cover Images page consists of 100+ free cover images which I made in Adobe Photoshop. They are perfect for your Profile Page, because they measure exactly 1200 pixels by 675 pixels, thus eliminating any guesswork on your part. There are three different styles to choose from: 1. Background image with a Bible verse already added to it. Just grab it and upload it to your Profile Page. 2. Background image with a small image on the right side. 3. Background image with nothing else added to it. With the second style, if you have the skill, you can download the JPG images to your computer, open them in a graphics editor of your choice -- such as Adobe Photoshop -- and add your own text on the left side of the image, such as your favorite Bible verse. Once you are done editing the image, just upload it as your new cover image, in the usual way. What can I say? I came across all of these really cool online photos of gorillas, monkeys, chimpanzees, etc., and I just had to download some of them to add to my vast collection of assorted images. Of course, I can use just about anything to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so why not these wonderful simians as well? And, of course, I throw in a bit of my usual humor and sarcasm as well, for those of you who can handle it. I mean, seriously. Most of my online friends know me as being a rather serious-minded Christian evangelist and writer who concentrates primarily on sharing the truths which are found in God's Word. I tend to be a straight, to-the-point sharpshooter who strives to not compromise the Word of God in any way. However, my longtime friends will also know that there is another side to Mr. Bill, or Brother Bill, as some folks like to call me. In short, to the surprise of some people, I do have my funny, silly, sarcastic side too. After all, I have long believed that having a good sense of humor is an important asset in one's life. It can help us to make it through some difficult times in our lives, and it certainly doesn't hurt to be able to laugh at ourselves once in a while. This page, then, reveals my more humorous side.
