View MoreMY VIEW ON THE CURRENT ALIEN/UFO DISCLOSURE HYPE Amongst alien and UFO enthusiasts, there has been so much talk — and high anticipation and expectation — in recent months regarding the U.S. government and military supposedly going to reveal all in the near future concerning what they really know about UFOs, or AUPs, as they are now being called within certain sectors. Allow me to share my current thoughts regarding this possibility. For almost seventy-five years now — since Roswell — the U.S. government and military have engaged in lies, coverups, deception, procrastination, psychological manipulation, etc., when it comes to the issue of the alien and UFO phenomena. This current attitude and belief that disclosure is going to happen at any time now, is just more of the same thing, and has been going on for many years now. Politicians promise to reveal, and then nothing ever comes of it. People get their hopes up, and then their hopes are dashed. Having said that, it is my belief that anyone who is once again getting their hopes up, and who excitedly anticipates that this time it will be different, is setting themselves up for just another disappointment. Stop and think about this. How many times have the U.S. government and military officials claimed that they cannot reveal things to the public due to concern for national security? What does that tell you? In my mind, it tells me that not only do they know what some of the AUPs/UFOs are, but they also know that at least some of them are their own craft, or perhaps the craft of some other national government. Why else would it be a national security issue to say anything? Look, UFOs/AUPs have been seen and described in many different sources for millennia, long before the events of 1947. If these beings, whoever and whatever they are, were truly out to destroy us, or at least to enslave us and conquer us, they would have done it already. They certainly wouldn’t wait until we have the technological and military means to defend ourselves. So the idea of alien visitors being a national security issue is bogus, in my view. The fact is, if an alien species is sufficiently advanced that it has discovered a means to traverse the vastness of interstellar space, then surely it also possesses the means to wipe us out. Yet here we are. Besides, if the truth be told, we humans do more to destroy ourselves and our world, without any help from an aggressive alien race.
